Day 1:
Arrive in Isla Porvenir.
(4nm cruise to Chichime Island)
Fly into Isla Porvenir via Panama City on a Chartered Flight.
After welcome drinks and safety briefing, we can get straight into the good stuff. Swimming in the pristine waters or for the adventurous, paddleboard or kayaking around the Island and reefs.
In the late afternoon we can relocate to the picturesque Chichmine Island and drop anchor for the night.
Day 2:
Chichmine Island
Today is the day to explore the beauty that surrounds you here. Spend the day in the crystal clear water’s, watersport’s is a must and the option here for some great snorkeling trips around various reefs by tender. In the evening the option to land ashore to the small local beach bar to watch the sunset disappear behind a bonfire.
Day 3:
Holandes Cays
(15nm cruise to Holandes Cays)
Relocate early in the morning to the majestic Holandes Cays, weather permitting this is a great place to deploy our sundeck to sea slide for a day of fun onboard and also a great option for lunch on the beach and spend the day doing watersports. In the evening pamper yourself with a relaxing massage or chose from a selection of indulging spa treatments with our very own relaxation specialist onboard.
Day 4:
West Holandes Cays
(2nm cruise to West Holand Cayes)
In the morning a short relocation to the Western Holandes Cays. Spend the day enjoying these pristine waters with more watersport activities, snorkeling or if you are game a fishing trips with the tender in search of the one that got away. In the evening enjoy the outdoor cinema onboard Calypso on our big screen with the option of enjoying your dinner “family style” in front of your favorite movie.
Day 5:
Panama Canal
(87nm cruise to Panama Canal)
Depart at first light to navigate the reefs, wake up and enjoy breakfast and soak up the sun as we enjoy the cruise toward the engineering marvel that is the Panama Canal. Here we must wait for a local pilot and line handling crew to board before we can begin our journey though the famed Gatun Locks. Marvel at the mule trains as they manage to safely pull us and huge container ships through the locks with ease. After the excitement of transiting the canal, proceed to an anchorage in Gatun Lake for the night.
Day 6:
Visit Gatun Lake Islands
(12nm to anchorage in Gatun Lake)
Wake up in the Gatun Lakes that separate the Atlantic Ocean from the Pacific Ocean. Here we can organize a day trip to visit one of the acclaimed Wildlife Sanctuaries of Monkey Island or Barro Colorado. Here you may encounter many species of wildlife, from Monkeys, Sloths, and Jaguars to Iguanas, Turtles, and Crocodiles.
Day 7:
Final Panama Canal Transit to Panama City
(32nm transit through the canal)
Lift Anchor in the morning and depart for the Pacific Locks. Relax onboard during the trip as we cruise through Gatun lake, enjoy some final spa treatments. Once through the Locks and into the Pacific, we arrive in Panama City for departure.
