Day 1:
James Bond Island and Koh Panyee
(Phuket to anchorage 15nm)
Arrive in Phuket, where a crew member will greet you and escort you back to your home for the next 7 days, Calypso. Once onboard, enjoy some welcoming drinks and a brief safety demonstration. Then it’s time to start of your Thailand adventure by cruising through the pristine waters towards James Bond Island. Made famous by the movie filmed there, “The Man with the Golden Gun”. We recommend you visit early in the morning or later on in the day so you can increase your chances on having the place to yourself.
The vertical rock, Ko Tapu, translates its name into nail or spike island, an accurate name for the rock which stands solitary in the midst of the bay. After taking in the sights, the option to travel 5nm by tender to visit Koh Panyee.
This famous village built on stilts is home to around 1,500 people and is home to some lovely handicraft stores and small cafes. Serving freshly caught fish and other local delicacies, this will be the ideal place to try some traditional food and enjoy the views before setting off towards Phang Nga Bay, where you will anchor down for the night.
Day 2:
Phang Nga Bay
(8nm cruise to Ko Boi Yai)
Your second day on the water is a day to take your time and explore at your own leisure.
Within Phang Nga Bay there are hundreds of small islands for you to visit and create some magical memories. Perfect spot to kayak or paddle board through some beautiful caves and areas of pure tranquility.
We can strap the kayaks and Paddleboards to the tenders and take you to the islands to reserve your energy for paddling around these wonderers of Mother Nature.
After lunch some snorkeling or diving to see the beautiful scenery under the water before leaving the area to anchor off Ko Boi Yai for a change of scenery for the evening.
Day 3:
Ao Nang Bay
(38nm cruise to Ao Nang Bay)
Lift anchor at first light to arrive in the bay of Ao Nang for after breakfast. Ao Nang brings you back to civilization and excitement.
Lining the shores of the bay are many resorts, shops, and restaurants with your name on. There’s so much to see you’ll be spoilt for choice.
Take some time to relax on the beach before heading to one of the many restaurants for some locally sourced lunch. Have some refreshments while overlooking the staggering view of the bay before visiting some of the local attractions that can be arranged.
In the evening the option to relax onboard or head ashore again to enjoy the nightlife on offer.
Day 4:
Koh Lanta
(28nm cruise to Koh Lanta)
Early morning lift anchor and escape from the hustle and bustle and disappear into the enclave of 70 small islands surrounding Koh Lanta.
Wake up amongst pristine white sandy beaches are sure with coral displays dotted around the nearby waters, Pull out some watersport toys or the options of snorkeling or diving the reefs to see the beauty that lies beneath the surface.
Home to some spectacular wildlife, a walk through the rainforest will be highly rewarding, especially when you see the incredible Khlong Chak waterfall.
After an active and rewarding day, how about treating yourself to one of the massage or spa treatments onboard.
Day 5:
Phi Islands
(18nm cruise to Phi Phi Islands)
Lift anchor in the morning and head to the famous Phi Phi Islands. With many of the islands being uninhabited you can almost guarantee you’ll find yourself a spot of pure seclusion and isolation.
If you feel energetic, another Dive or Snorkel is available for you to see some stunning displays of marine life. There are plenty of diving sites to choose from in this area.
After a day exploring the option to go ashore and enjoy the lively night scene the Phi Phi Islands have to offer or relax onboard and enjoy a family style dinner in front of your favorite movie on our outdoor cinema screen.
Day 6:
Racha Islands
(30nm cruise to Racha Islands)
after breakfast to the super soft, pure white sands of the Racha Islands.
The waters in this area are crystal clear making the Racha Islands another perfect location to do some diving or snorkeling.
The beaches here could be a perfect spot to set up a nice relaxing Beach BBQ for the afternoon.
If you fancy a go at fishing there are some fishing hotspots in these islands for you to make the perfect catch for a fresh supper on your last evening in these beautiful waters.
Day 7:
Return to Phuket
(36nm cruise to Phuket)
Option to depart early or after breakfast as there are many islands dotted along the route back to Phuket which offer more white sandy beaches and pure waters for possible snorkeling opportunities. Or stay at anchor in the Racha Islands and enjoy last minute activities before returning to Phuket to disembark.
